James J. Juneau
Mr. Juneau, a founding partner of the firm, has more than 40 years of professional experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of catastrophic personal injury, products liability, professional malpractice, wrongful death, aviation and complex business tort cases. He is board certified as a personal injury trial law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and handles such cases in all counties across the State of Texas. Mr. Juneau also has more than thirty years experience serving as a professional arbitrator and mediator, and is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Large and Complex Case panel of approved arbitrators. He has been recognized as one of the best attorneys in Dallas by “D Magazine”, he has been repeatedly named a “Texas Super-Lawyer” by Texas Monthly magazine, and he has been honored by induction into the Million-Dollar Advocates Forum, in recognition of his many jury verdicts or settlements involving recoveries of at least one-million dollars.

Bar Associations:
Mr. Juneau was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1984, and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Juneau is a Member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Dallas, Houston, Plano and Collin County Bar Associations. He has been inducted as a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and is a Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation and the Dallas Bar Foundation.
Professional Activities:
Mr. Juneau has is a frequent speaker at legal professional development seminars, and has authored publications on a wide range of legal topics including police pursuit liability, alternative dispute resolution, federal removal and remand, federal jurisdiction, product design liability, mediation and arbitration, and pre-suit investigation and strategy.
Mr. Juneau has also served as a Principal Member of the National Fire Protection Association Fire Apparatus Technical Committee and Technical Committee on Ambulances, which committees develop and promulgate the national design and safety standards for all fire apparatus and ground ambulances manufactured and sold in the United States. He is a nationally recognized legal authority on issues relating to fire apparatus and emergency vehicle design and operational safety, and he has participated as an invited speaker in firefighter safety training and education programs across the United States and Canada. Mr. Juneau also serves as designated legal counsel to the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers’ Association, and to the Fire and Emergency Manufacturers and Services Association.

Community:
Mr. Juneau is a FAA licensed commercial and instrument pilot, and has served the community as a Angel Flight command pilot, voluntarily providing free air transportation to medical patients, and their families, when medical care is required in locations distant from the patient’s home. He also has served as a volunteer pilot with the Homeland Security Emergency Air Transportation System, providing emergency disaster-relief air transportation services.
Mr. Juneau is a scuba diving instructor, rescue diver and technical diver certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
